Died: July 24, 2011 Farmington, Missouri
Died from severe heart disease and an enlarged heart at the age of 60 years.

Peek was a christian and left the band in 1977 and became a Contemporary Christian Music artist. His funeral was at the Presbyterian Church in Farmington and was buried at Zolman Cemetery in Farmington, Missouri in St. Francois County.
